RIDE FOR FREEDOM - MOTORCYCLE RALLY

Show your support of the troops by joining members of the Indiana Patriot Guard Riders and many other avid bikers in Matter Park to be a part of the Ride For Freedom motorcycle rally. As the runners pass the motorcyclists, the bikers will “salute” the runners and honor the troops by revving their engines as a tribute. It’s a one-of-a-kind exhilarating experience for the runners and bikers alike!

The Ride For Freedom will start at Matter Park at the upper parking area near the tennis courts. Please see the Motorcycle ParkingMap. The cost is $10 per person.The first 100 registrants will receive a commemorative dog tag with the names of Grant County's fallen soldiers engraved on them. Please have your bike in place NO LATER THAN 9:45! The course will shut down to all traffic at 9:50 SHARP (for participant safety) and you will not be allowed into the parking area.

Participants in the ‘Ride For Freedom’ can either leave the park and go on the Poker Run, or stay behind and eat with the runners at the post-race picnic which begins at 11:00. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and all the fixins’! Picnic begins at 11:00am at the Matter Park band shell. All proceeds from the ‘Ride For Freedom’ go to support the Indiana Freedom Memorial (www.indianafreedommemorial.com). Please come out and join us - and thank you for your support!
